History

Bulgaria is a small and beautiful European country, famous with its centuries-old dairy traditions. "Merone" company carries on these traditions by making Bulgarian dairy products famous and desired all over the world.

"Merone" started production in autumn 1992. During 1994, we began building a new factory in the industrial zone of Alfatar town. The factory started to work in 1996. All dairy facilities are situated over an area of 4 400 square metres and include production, storing, living, administrative and service buildings.

We began working as a self-employed personal company, and are now registered as "Merone-N" Ltd. The company holds its own patented trademark and copyrighted company logo.

Business activities

The company has many years of experience and established traditions in buying-up, processing and retailing milk and dairy products, delivering them to the Bulgarian and international markets.

Our buying-up network is area-based, and includes 70 farms and stations in towns and villages in the districts of Silistra, Dobrich, Shumen and Razgrad. The raw milk, collected for producing all "Merone" dairy products, is of highest quality, assured by strict checking and monitoring during buying-up and category qualification.
